Manager – Thame Equipment Bank
About 21st Century Thame.
21st Century Thame is a town partnership set up to facilitate projects which enhance the town for residents, businesses and visitors alike.
Job Role
Manager – Thame Equipment Bank – Community engagement.
Purpose
Thame Equipment Bank is the most prestigious of the 21st Century Thame initiatives. The equipment bank is the income producing activity which funds other 21st Century Thame projects. The purpose of the role is to ensure that the equipment bank is fully utilised, that bookings are facilitated by liaising with the administrator and key holders, that stock is checked in and out of the bank, stock checked and in appropriate condition for re-hire and that all financial arrangements are met.
Who would it suit?
A co-ordinator and leader. A small business owner who wants to be involved in community activities as it offers good networking opportunities among likeminded Thame based businesses, community groups and residents. It would also be suitable for an individual who has regular access to a computer and would like to develop their leadership and business skills, possibly someone wising to return to the work place following a career break.
Benefits
This is a wonderful opportunity for a local business, organisation or individual who would like to make a contribution to their local community and manage the asset which secures funding for all other 21st Century projects.
